Alfred Joseph Casson, OC (May 17 1898 - February 20 1992) was a member of the Canadian group of painters, the Group of Seven. He joined the group in 1926 after an invitation from Franklin Carmichael. Casson is best know for his depiction of landscapes, forests and farms of southern Ontario, and being the youngest member of the Group of Seven. Wikipedia
