Abu Tammam (Habib ibn Aus) Arabic, أبو تمام حبيب بن أوس was an Arab poet of the tribe of Tayy (though some say he was the son of a Christian apothecary named Thaddeus, and that his genealogy was forged). He was born in Jasim is one of the greatest anthologies of Arabic literature ever written.
