Saint Adalgott is the name of an eleventh-century Roman Catholic saint. Adalgott was a bishop and a comforter of the poor. He was a monk in the Benedictine monastery in Clairvaux. He soon was given the position of abbot of the Benedictines in Disentis. While here, he became quite well known for being a caregiver of the sick and poor. He then was appointed bishop of Chur, and he conducted an apostolate for the poor and suffering the region. Wikipedia
