Alan Joseph Faneca, Jr. was born on December 7,1976 in New Orleans,Louisiana and is one of two children. His parents are Liane and Alan Faneca. As a kid Alan attended John Curtis high and would later go to Lamar Consolidated high in Texas. He lettered in track and had accumulated many awards over his high school football career.
