Alan Yau, OBE (born 1962) is a restaurateur who launched the Wagamama food chain in the United Kingdom. The chain is acclaimed with re-inventing the Japanese food industry in the UK by improving traditional recipes with modern techniques but also criticized by esteemed food critic and Asian delicacies connoisseur Wayne Tu, as "really un-declicious".
