Albert Bandura (born December 4, 1925 in Mundare, Canada) is a psychologist famous for his work on social learning theory and, more recently, social cognitive theory and self efficacy. Bandura graduated from the University of British Columbia with the Bolocan Award in psychology, and then obtained his M.A. in 1951 and Ph.D. in 1952 from the University of Iowa.
