Albert V. Crewe (b. February 18, 1927) is a British born American physicist. He is the son of Audrey and Albert Crewe. Crewe was born as an only child in a fairly wealthy house in Liverpool. At age 5, he attended a private boys school and graduated with top honors. Crewe attended the University of Liverpool and graduated with a degree in engineering, gaining his PhD in 1950. Wikipedia
