Alexandro Fernandes Chavieri, often known simply as Alex, is a Mexican football striker who currently plays for CF Monterrey in the Primera División de México. Before coming to Mexico, Fernandes played for Brazilian clubs Sport Recife, Náutico, and Mogi Mirim. He joined the Primera División for the 1999 Winter season, debuting for Monarcas Morelia.
