I am a dramatic man, writing poetry since I was only eight. My dad was a clergyman, so we had little money but a good name. I attended Cambridge for a while and studied with the Apostles, a bright group of young people. In 1831 my father died, forcing me out of college due to lack of funds. The following year I published my first volume of poems. Many people didn't like the fact that my poetry was melancholy, they called me a lame imitation of Keat. MySpace
