Alison B. Alter Dr. Alison B. Alter joined the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004 as the Associate Director of the Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government at Harvard University (a joint program of the John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Economics and Government departments) and earned a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University. wage.wisc.edu
