About Alvin Davis

Alvin Glenn Davis (born September 9, 1960 in Riverside, California) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman/designated hitter who played for the Seattle Mariners and the California Angels. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. Davis played college baseball at Arizona State and broke into the Majors with the Mariners in 1984 and remained there until 1992 when he played one season for the Angels before retiring.
