Amery Smith (also known as AWOL) is a drummer, currently associated with the Beastie Boys. He forms BS 2000 together with Beastie Boys' Ad Rock. Before that, he played the drums on Suicidal Tendencies' debut album, and was one of the forming members of Uncle Slam and The Brood, two other Venice based crossover thrash bands. Wikipedia
