Andrew Upton is an Australian playwright, screenwriter, and director. As a playwright, Upton penned adaptations of "Cyrano de Bergerac" and "Don Juan" for the Sydney Theatre Company. In 1999, Upton wrote and directed "Bangers" which starred his wife, Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchett. In 2006, he wrote the film "Gone" which was directed by Ringan Ledwidge.
