Andriy Shevchenko (born June 10, 1976) is a current deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament. Andriy Shevchenko was born in the village of Hvizdets in Prykarpattia (Ukraine) and spent his young years in Fastiv, near Kiev. He graduated from Institute of Journalism in Kiev, and also studied at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
