Angela M. Brown is an American soprano opera singer at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Her teachers were Virginia Zeani at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and Ginger Beazley at Oakwood College. Brown's debut at the Met in late October of 2004 in the title role of Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida" was so well received that an article about her appeared on the front page of the "New York Times" on November 8 2004.
