Anouk Aimée is an Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe-winning French film actress. Aimée was born Françoise Sorya Dreyfus in Paris, France, the daughter of another actress, Geneviève Sorya, and Henry Dreyfus. She is Jewish. Aimée began her career in French films in 1947 at age 14.
