Antoine Pinay (December 30, 1891, Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise, Rhône, France - December 13, 1994) was a French conservative politician. He served as Prime Minister of France from 1952 - 1953 (technically, "president of the Council"). Early in life, Pinay managed a small business. He served as mayor of Saint-Chamond (Loire) from 1929 to 1977. He was elected to the French National Assembly in 1936, running as a conservative. Wikipedia
