Armando Saldivar KDBC 4 News Anchor/Reporter A native El Pasoan, Armando Saldivar is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where he received his BA in Communications with a minor in Spanish. Armando credits his love of news and reporting to his friend and mentor Isabel Amparán who was his student teacher at Jefferson High School. Amparán died of cancer at a very young age, but not before truly touching Armando's life and career. kdbc
