Arnold Gingrich (1903 - 1976) was the founder (with David Smart, a Chicago publisher) and editor of the Esquire (magazine). He created the magazine in 1933 and remained its editor until 1961. Gingrich was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1903. Gingrich published such authors as Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner, John Steinbeck, Thomas Wolfe, John Dos Passos, Garry Wills, Truman Capote, and Norman Mailer. Wikipedia
