Azad (born Azad Azadpour, January 1, 1974 in Sanandaj, Kurdistan, Iran) is a rapper. He came from the Kurdish part of Iran as the child of a Kurdish family of refugees and now lives in Frankfurt, Germany. In hip hop culture, he found his home since it was a common part of life in the area he grew up.
