Barthelemy Lafon (1769 - 29 September 1820), was a notable architect, engineer, city planner and surveyor in New Orleans, Louisiana. In later life, he turned away from architecture and engaged in piracy and smuggling. Lafon was born in Villepinte, France and travelled to New Orleans c. 1790.
