Carroll Hoff "Beano" Cook (Born September 1, 1931) is an ESPN college football historian and commentator. He received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1954. He joined ESPN in 1986 as a studio commentator. Cook also does freelance radio and television work in the Pittsburgh area.
