Ben Humeniuk was born in 1986 in Austin, Texas, and grew up in Brownwood, Texas. He began drawing at a very young age and became very disciplined in art in the sixth grade. Humeniuk attended Brownwood High School, where he was chosen to draw for the school newspaper. It was during this time that he became more confident with his talent when he learned that others enjoyed his artwork, too.
