Bernard Arthur Owen Williams (September 21, 1929 - June 10, 2003) was a British philosopher, widely cited as the most important British moral philosopher of his time. He was Knightbridge Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge for over a decade, and Provost of King's College, Cambridge for almost as long, before becoming Deutsch Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley.
