Bert R. Bolin (born 15 March1925) is a Swedish meteorologist who served as Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change from 1988 to 1998. Bolin completed his Ph.D. at Stockholm University in 1956, and was Professor of Meteorology there 1961-1990.
