Bertha Mahony Miller
Bertha Everett Mahony Miller (1882-1969) was an American editor and publisher who spent most of her life promoting children's literature. She was born in Rockport, Massachusetts and attended Simmons College. In 1906, she became a staff member of the Women's Educational and Industrial Union and established the Bookshop for Boys and Girls who occasionally had poets such as Robert Frost and T.S. Eliot come in for "poetry time" ten years later. Wikipedia
