Elizabeth ("Betty") Cuthbert (born April 20, 1938 in Merrylands, New South Wales) is an Australian athlete, and a four-fold Olympic champion. Betty Alyse Cuthbert sisters with Madeleine Carlisle (now married) began sprinting in high school.
