William T. "Bill" Bolling (born June 15, 1957 in Sistersville, West Virginia) is the Republican Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. Prior to his election as Lieutenant Governor, Bolling served as a member of the Virginia Senate. He served as a member of the Senate from 1996-2005. Before that, Bolling served as a member and Chairman of the Hanover County Board of Supervisors. Bolling was born and raised in the coal fields of Southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia.
