Bishop Charles Frederick Mackenzie was a Christian missionary. He was born in Scotland at the start of the 20th century, was consecrated bishop in St George's Cathedral, Cape Town, on January 1, 1861. Following Dr David Livingstones' request to Cambridge, Bishop Charles Frederick Mackenzie took on the position of being the first missionary bishop in Malawi (Nyasaland). Wikipedia
