Bob Bryar attended school at Eisenhower Junior High in Darien, Illinois where he played drums and symphonic in a jazz band. After Junior High, he went on to go to Downers Grove South High School. There he joined the marching band and was the section leader of their drumline. Bryar is the only member of My Chemical Romance who was not an original member and he is also the only one who is not from New Jersey.
