Robert Douglas Franks (born 21 September 1951 in Hackensack, New Jersey) is a Republican politician. He is a former U.S. Representative from New Jersey. Franks grew up in suburban Chicago. He graduated from DePauw University in 1973 and from law school at Southern Methodist University in 1976.
