Robert Ellis Kur (April 13, 1948) is a television journalist, born in Nutley, New Jersey. He received a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 1970 and his masters of communications at Columbia University. He went on to be a local anchor in Chicago and Washington and later became a weekend anchor on NBC's "Today Show." In the mid-1990s, Kur gained attention for his coverage of the lawsuits against the tobacco industries. Wikipedia
