Raised in the Beltzhoover neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, Trow began his career in radio. He later became well-known for his acting roles on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood as Bob Dog and Robert Troll, characters from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
