Boyd Haley earned his doctorate in chemistry/biochemistry from Washington State University and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale University Medical Center. He has been at the University of Kentucky with joint appointments in these disciplines since 1985, as well as at the College of Pharmacy. He has served as Chairman and professor of the Department of Chemistry since 1997.
