Mr. Goodwin is currently a director of PDL BioPharma and until its sale in early 2007 he was also the Chairman of the Board of CoTherix, Inc., a public-traded company focused on pulmonary arterial hypertension. From 2001 to 2006, he was Chief Executive Officer and Director of Novacea, Inc., a publicly-held biopharmaceutical company focused on in-licensing, developing and commercializing novel therapies for cancer. rigel
