Brett Michael Emerton (born February 22, 1979 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is a football (soccer) player who currently plays for Blackburn Rovers in England. He is usually a wide midfielder but has been known to play in central positions or at full back. Emerton started his career with the Olympic Sharks (now Sydney Olympic) in Sydney in August 1996, making 93 appearances and scoring 14 goals. Wikipedia
