Brian Leetch (born March 3, 1968 in Corpus Christi, Texas) is a former professional ice hockey defenseman. He is generally considered one of the top offensive defensemen, and one of the best American born NHL defenseman in history; his election to the Hockey Hall of Fame after his retirement on Thursday, May 24, 2007 seems a virtual certainty.
