Burnett Guffey (May 26, 1905 - May 30, 1983 in Del Rio, Tennessee) was an American cinematographer. The Academy Award-winning lensman began as an assistant cameraman in the early 1920 while still a teenager. Guffey was hired as a Director of Photography for Columbia Pictures in 1944. He won Academy Awards for "From Here to Eternity" (1953) and "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967) while working for Warner Brothers. Wikipedia
