Carlos Atanes (born November 8, 1971) is an Spanish film director and writer. Born in Barcelona, Spain, Atanes has written and directed many works since 1987, using different genres and techniques (Hi-8 video, 35mm., etc). In 1991, he shoots "The Marvellous World of the Cucu Bird", which has been followed by another experimental works as "El Tenor Mental" (1993) and "Borneo" (1997). Wikipedia
