Carlos Otero graduated cum laude from the prestigious visual arts academy Instituto de Diseño Newman in Caracas, Venezuela. After graduation, he worked as a freelance graphic designer for The British Council, La Fundación Mozarteum Venezuela and Monte Avila Editores.
