Charles Fort is an American poet. He was born in 1951 in New Haven, Connecticut, received his B.A. from Siena Heights College and his M.F.A. from Bowling Green University, and currently teaches at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Poetry by Charles Fort has been included in the Best American Poetry collections for 2000 and 2003. As a poet, Fort is heavily influenced by the likes of Richard Hugo and Philip Levine. Wikipedia
