Charles James "Charlie" Haughey was the sixth Taoiseach of Ireland. One of the most controversial of Irish politicians in the 20th century, Haughey served four terms as Taoiseach: December 1979 to June 1981, March 1982 to December 1982 and March 1987 to February 1992, when he was forced to resign by revelations from a former minister. He was the fourth leader of Fianna Fáil, from 1979 until 1992. He died of prostate cancer at the age of eighty. Wikipedia
