Chesterfield Smith (1917 - July 16, 2003) was the founder of Holland & Knight LLP, one of the largest law firms in the United States, and president of the American Bar Association during the Watergate scandal, from 1973-1974. Smith was born, and grew up, in, Arcadia, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, where he joined the Florida National Guard.
