About Chiam See Tong

Chiam See Tong (born March 12, 1935) represents the Potong Pasir Single Member Constituency in the Parliament of Singapore. He was the leader of the Singapore Democratic Party before being ousted out for trying to censor Dr Chee Soon Juan. He is currently the head of the Singapore People's Party and the "de facto" leader of the Singapore Democratic Alliance. In the 2001 General Election, he won the Potong Pasir SMC for the fifth time.
