Chris Konopka (born April 14, 1985 in Toms River, New Jersey) is an American soccer player who currently plays goalkeeper for the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. Konopka played collegiate soccer at Providence College from 2003 to 2006. After a standout career with the Friars, Konopka was considered a top goalkeeping prospect and trialed in Europe throughout his senior year at Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City, AS Roma, and Celta Vigo.
