Christian Frei is a Swiss filmmaker. He is mostly known for his two films "War Photographer" (2001) and "The Giant Buddhas" (2005). Both deal with topics and themes more or less linked to war and intolerance. Born in 1959, in Schönenwerd, Switzerland, Christian Frei studied visual media in the Department of Journalism and Communication at Freiburg University.
