Chrisye (born Chrismansyah Rahadi) was a popular Indonesian pop singer, of mixed Chinese-Indonesian descent. He was born in Jakarta on September 16, 1949, and died there on March 30 2007 following a long battle with lung cancer.. He recorded 28 albums in his lifetime. He married in 1982 to G.F.
