Colin Pitchfork (born 1961, Bristol, England) was the first criminal caught based on DNA fingerprinting evidence. Pitchfork raped and murdered two girls in Yate, South Gloucestershire, on 21 November, 1985, and on 31 July, 1989.He also murdered a farmer on 26 July,1990.
