Daniel Effiong (born June 17, 1972 in Lagos) is a former sprinter from Nigeria. He became African 100 metres and Universiade champion in 1993. Together with Innocent Asonze, Francis Obikwelu and Deji Aliu he won a bronze medal in 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1999 World Championships, but the team was later disqualified (in August 2005) because Innocent Asonze failed a doping test in June 1999.
