Daniel Rahimi is a Swedish ice hockey defenceman. Rahimi was selected 82nd Overall in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. Rahimi has great size for a teenager at 6'3", 213 lbs and plays a defensively-focused game. He is finishing the 2006-07 season with the Manitoba Moose in the AHL, after his season with IF Björklöven in the Allsvenskan came to an end. Rahimi is known for his big hits and hurting players.
